
Dr. Dorcas Kiarie

Dr. Dorcas Kiarie is a Holistic Child Development Practitioner. Driven by her faith in God, determination, hard-smart working approach, and when set to achieve great goals, the word “IMPOSSIBLE” automatically disappears from her dictionary, and her resilience wins. As a wife, a mother of five children, a grandmother, and with scarce finances, she earned herself three degrees: – Doctor of Practical Ministry; MA Child Development; BA Child Development and Children Ministry (First Class Honors). She literally takes talents as ‘sweet aroma’ that must be given an opportunity to change the atmosphere.
Dr. Dorcas earlier worked at the National Registration Bureau and the Judiciary cumulatively for 11 years. She also volunteered at Ripples International, Awana Kenya and Global Children’s Network. She does team building activities with zeal and zest. Worship music, singing and dancing is her delight. She loves nature, bakes cakes and has a highly creative mind. Dr. Dorcas is full of life, hospitable and pro- active. Faithfulness, compassion and generosity are some of her virtues.

Festus Nyakundi
Board Vice Chairperson
Nyakundi Festus is a professional educator and community servant with a strong commitment to education, transformational leadership, and holistic development. He is married to Rose Nyakundi, and blessed with four children. He holds a Bachelor of Education degree and has further specialized in Special Needs Education. He is the Deputy Head at Marindi Comprehensive School, a businessman and a part-time assistant lecturer at Pan Africa Christian University where he is currently an MA student in Transformational Church Leadership. He serves as an Area Coordinator with The Gideons International, pastors at Nyamira Pentecostal Church, and chairs several welfare organizations, reflecting his commitment to collective wellbeing and community development, powered by his personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Festus is deeply passionate about working with children and youth, enjoys music and drama, a gifted storyteller, a good organizer and a stickler for order. He is a lover of nature and enjoys touring and sightseeing.
His motto is: Hope and Resilience.
Hantony Mwendwa
Board Member
Hantony Mwendwa is a Christian leader and ministry practitioner committed to strengthening organizations that serve children, families, and communities. He currently serves as the National Director of Global Children Network (GCN–Kenya), where he leads initiatives that equip churches and ministry leaders to effectively disciple and care for children.
With over 30 years of experience working with children and youth, Hantony brings extensive expertise in discipleship, leadership development, and program implementation within faith-based and community organizations. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation and empowering leaders to build strong, values-driven ministries.
Hantony is married to Mary, and they are blessed with two children. He brings a strong commitment to servant leadership, good governance, ethical stewardship, and advancing the mission of organizations that transform lives and communities.


Ezzrick Wairegi
Board Member
Ezzrick Wairegi is a registered counseling psychologist. She retired in the year 2025 after having taught as a trained primary school teacher for 40 years in Eldoret city of Kenya. During her youthful days, she visited various schools as an entertainer in gymnastics. She is married to Pastor Johnson Wairegi and blessed with four children. She is highly committed to child protection and has demonstrated the same in bringing up her differently enabled daughter for the last 35 years with great love and commitment.
Ezzric passionately serves as a school evangelist whereby she shares the word of God during the school assembly, using her great comedy talent that leaves a lasting impression to the children and their teachers. She is also a talented singer and highly values faith in God, integrity, and safety for all. Her hobbies are sports and fun games.
Ezzric’s life motto is: God is dependable.
Board Member
Irine Marangu is an associate Degree holder in Biblical Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary. She has a Diploma in Biblical Studies from International School of Ministry (ISOM) and certificates in: – Secretarial Studies, Insurance Training with Kenya College of Insurance whereby she is a registered member of Association of Kenya Insurance, and another certificate in Leadership from Clarence Matheny Leadership Training Institute (CMLTI). Irine is a Sunday school teachers’ trainer and a child counselor. She enjoys engaging with children and teens. Currently, she works with Awana Kenya and Compassion International on part time basis, coordinating children ministry affairs in various churches and schools. Due to her gifting in cookery, Irine has thrived in outside catering business and related services. She also enjoys crocheting. She is a born again Christian fellowshipping at Trinity Reformed Baptist Church –Meru.

Pauline Thuo
Board Member
Pauline Thuo is a professional high school teacher with more than 30 years of teaching experience. She is a holder of Bachelor of Education Degree in Home Economics. She is a senior teacher incharge of studies, moral and spiritual guidance as well as heading the technical department at Nakuru girls senior school, with more than 2,000 students. Pauline is a student of theology taking Associate Diploma. She is married to Mr. Stephen Thuo and together blessed with 3 children. She takes the role of a mentor as a cell group leader in her church….and holds the treasurer’s position in Talent Talento Children International. Sacrifice, integrity and team work are her most treasured values. Her hobbies are reading, travelling, socializing, cooking and clothing construction.
Pauline’s life motto is: Apart from God, I cease to exist.
Rachael Kiuna
Board Member
Mrs. Rachael Kiuna has 30 years of experience in public health, community health, and clinical medicine. Holding a Master’s in Public Health (Epidemiology), a Bachelor of Community Health, and a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, she blends scientific expertise with hands on clinical skills. A seasoned public health epidemiologist, Rachael has served both Government and Non- governmental organizations at national and county levels, leading initiatives that improve health outcomes for children, adolescents, and adults. Her passion lies in nurturing the gifts of young people, a commitment reflected in her 16 year tenure as Youth Co – Patron at the Kenya Assemblies of God Church, Nakuru Christian Center, where she mentors youth in faith, character, and personal development. Through her unique blend of health care knowledge and spiritual mentorship, Mrs. Kiuna supports Talento to achieve its goals and objectives as the Board Vice Secretary.
Her motto is: ‘Empowering young talents, transforming futures globally.’


Erastus Tatua
Board Member
Erastas Tatua retired as a bank branch manager with the National Bank of Kenya at the head office Nairobi, having served with the bank for 29 years. He is a holder of a Degree in Finance and Accounting from Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) and a Diploma in Banking from the Kenya Institute of Bankers.
He is an ordained elder at PCEA Kasarani where he has served as the church’s chairperson for more than 5 years. He is a businessman supplying cereals to millers around Nairobi area and beyond. Erastus is married to Tabitha Nyambura and together blessed with 4 children and 5 grandchildren. He loves singing in church and in other occasions. His hobbies are swimming and playing table tennis.
The life motto he stands for is: Glorify God in all circumstances.
