Hon. Justice Kiarie Waweru Kiarie is a Judge of the High Court of Kenya. He was trained at the
University of Nairobi and the Kenya School of Law. He is a focused, principled adjudicator,
hardworking, smart worker, honest, a team player and uncompromising. He has worked as a
magistrate for 28 years and as a judge of the High Court for 10 years, with 36 years’ experience
as head of station. He received the most improved court award (2023) as well as award for
best-performing station (2023).His focus is on achieving results, adhering to deadlines, and
ensuring high-quality justice delivery.
Justice Kiarie is a born-again Christian driven by Biblical principles and work ethics. He is a
husband, a father and a grandfather. He is also a large scale citrus farmer. His hobbies are
playing table tennis, squash, and scrabble, an avid bird and animal photographer and a multi-
lingual. His motto is: Service rendered to humanity is service rendered to God.
